May 2021. Sadly, I have found DTS-NET to 1..not give any setup details for new accounts 2..take your money and run 3..not respond to phone call message (there is not a real person available either). 4..not respond to tickets (this is over several days and payment from me taken) Every contact I have had with them has been polite and courteous. I understand cheap, and dont expect instant service but to receive absolutely no service is criminal. In other words, they have taken my payment days ago, and I received receipts for payment, but nothing more (no hosting at all because its pending) except automatic ticket response: 'Thank you for contacting our support team. A support ticket has now been opened for your request.'

My initial experience was good enough that I paid for Business service for one year. After 1 week I had noticed that I was unable to use their FTP access and informed them about it;however, Using the server upload I was able to get the site going. I then found that their CWPanel would not allow you to sign in directly and you had to load it through their site. Often times it would not connect to the panel until the third or forth try. Then they stopped paying for their softaculous account which which prevented me from installing some of the software that I had paid to use. After that I found that their so called unlimited email account was not configured correctly and you could not send or receive emails from gmail users. Which also prevented anyone signing up for an account on your website from getting their email confirmation. When trying to tweek the website for best performance I found their service was subpar on gtmetrix. So I went to start fresh, and found I was no longer [read more...]

DTS-NET was a legacy U.S. web hosting provider founded in 1997 by Craig Gendrolas. The company belonged to the early generation of independent hosting businesses, when small companies were just beginning to move online and needed affordable hosting, domain registration, email and technical guidance from people who understood both business and infrastructure.
For many years, DTS-NET built its reputation around direct support, flexible hosting packages and practical help for small businesses. Their services covered Domains, Shared Hosting, Linux Hosting, Windows / ASP.NET Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Cloud Hosting, Cloud CDN, eCommerce support, SEO consultation, managed services, backup / disaster recovery and custom server work.
The company’s strongest period came from combining low-cost hosting with a more personal technical relationship. Customers could get help not only with account issues, but also with migrations, troubleshooting, online-business planning and server decisions. This gave DTS-NET a more human profile than many larger providers that relied heavily on standardized support queues.
DTS-NET also tried to move beyond traditional hosting. 1st time ever using a vps service and I never had a problem with host papa! It was really only used to test some college work and their tutorial video really when I got stuck. Also had to email customer service and got a quick response. Finally they are cheapest vps service on the web and believe me a checked many sites. There is no doubt that I will use them again when the time comes.

I must say DTS-NET support team are the best!
A small example 2 weekends ago we got a Ddos attack the support activated the shield and they were so helpful.

Absolutely GREAT customer service! I love being able to chat with DTS-NET 24/7 support with almost immediate response. No waiting for a "ticket" to be responded to on most minor issues.
