😠 Really very poor customer service
Starhostbd has the worst customer services I ever had. Very rare, I can get the useful information by them. often they just don't response your query. Also they have a great lack of curtsey. They don't know how to behave with customer with manner. They have fancy ad, and thats why they get customers. I find no other reason why people host with them.
They just sucks. Any other hosting compared with them will good.

😠 StarHotBD does not support customer
I have registered and hosted a domain named "delimitbd.com". StarHotBD claims that .net Framework 4.0 and SQL Server 2008 is enabled. But after hosting our site we saw that .net framework 4.0 is not properly installed are enabled. We sent emails to info@starhostbd.com, but it does not reply. Their Customer Care is telling us we will solve. Even after three days, we did not get any reply. So I am rating it Lowest.

😁 Good hosting service, I recommend
Starhost has a great CPanel Dashboard to control everything in your account, from domains to billing to MySQL. They have one-click installs of several apps like Wordpress and Joomla. However, I love the dashboard so much that I'm willing to try installing things myself if needed. The Cpanel dashboard is better by far than Technobd, Arfi tech.
They have become more transparent in the last year or so. They have a sent me emails for status or any emergency messages, and the ability to see your server's status on your dashboard. I have never had a problem with up-time, but my sites are low-traffic. Within 2 years of use I only had 1 major downtime; they email me for the occurrence and took steps so that in future it wont happen again. Now they use mirroring so no more downtime again.
I contacted support this summer regarding a couple of Wordpress web sites which suddenly threw errors. It turned out to be a bad DB host name (I deleted it), and support even fixed it for me, even [read more...]

😁 They are very professional! With dedicated customer care for 24 hours. Even for emergency situation they let customer know what happened. Withing 4 hours of service we have very little downtime. This is the best web hosting provider for Bangladesh.
I used several Bangladeshi hosting services but now I left all of them and switched to StarHOST for their high uptime and customer support.
I can hardly remember downtime using their services.
