😠 brel.com & bnn.com domains hijacked @namesecure.com
1. Our two domains brel.com and bnn.com were hijacked and transferred to GoDaddy last Monday.
2. Both domains were registered in 1995 by us with Network Solutions. We transferred to namesecure.com in 2015 and paid them for 9 years. namesecure.com claimed that the domain authorised user made the transfer on 17 Jan 2021 to GoDaddy. We told namesecure.com that we didn't authorise this. namesecure.com said that they cannot do anything and asked us to contact GoDaddy instead.
3. We finally managed to get hold of GoDaddy and they advised us to get namesecure.com to file a transfer dispute case and to contact them to restore our domains.
4. We had emailed namesecure.com yesterday to follow up but there is no reply from namesecure.com yet.
We are currently at a loss as our mail, web and application servers are down. But as there are special kind souls out there that had helped us, we are really appreciative and very very grateful.

Namesecure recently did a major upgrade to their backend, adding tons of new control & functionality.
The result, my Wordpress sites slowed to a crawl & Greymatter sites crashed.
The final insult came when they raised their prices from $8.95 to $14.95 for yearly domain renewals.
I am in the process of transferring ALL DOMAINS & HOSTING to Godaddy.com

😠 Only using them as registrars for 50+ domains. Have had few interactions with CS over the years, but guess I've had a decent experience. HOWEVER, without any notice they recently (around Oct/Nov 2010) jacked the yearly domain price from 9.45 to 14.95 - a neat 58% increase. I will be taking each domain elsewhere as they come up for renewal.

Their Customer Service is terrible. Right now I am in a holding pattern on a Customer Service call 34 minutes and counting. This month they have upgraded their services and my Server IP Address has been changed 3 times. My Password and User Name were also changed so I could not access my account.
I am seriously considering moving all my domains to another company who has a much better policy regarding Customer Service and response to known or caused problems.
At this point, especially with their domain name renewal prices of $14.95 I would not recommend them to anyone.

😠 Avoid namesecure like the plague. Zero customer support and even when you go eventually get hold of someone they don't do what they say they will. If you want the most annoying business relationship that you will ever have then please sign up with namesecure, you won't be disappointed. They're not satisfied until you're not satisfied.
