In the spring of 2001, a software company called Smilehouse had a small-scale server hosting business created through previous acquisitions (including Done, Suomen Kotisivupalvelu) and its own e-commerce product. Customers included companies whose websites and emails were hosted on servers. There were another hundred Smilehouse Shop Engine online stores on shared servers.The more or less serene time as a subsidiary of Lauttasaari was a steady development, during which a subsidiary Louhi Security was also established, which focused on security audits. This company has then grown into a successful security company (www.2ns.fi) under the name of Second Nature Security , led by three other personal shareholders (Lv 1.7M, 2017). Great story too.
Where's Louhi going? The company's strategy is to grow organically by developing e-commerce and self-service and expanding its service offering. With over 20,000 customers, good customer service remains the company's core value.
