😠 Joyent does not care
The management dashboard stopped working and I could not access my account. There have been multiple issues with my ability to server my apps and manage my account.
I turned my instances off months ago. The instances are not active, but I kept the images in the dashboard in case I had a change of heart. Joyent continued to charge me for inactive instances.
I emailed their support and they will not credit me for the instances THAT ARE NOT ACTIVE!!!!
This is crazy and not cool.

😠 Revoked Lifetime Contract
Joyent are scammers. They sold me a lifetime hosting service for $499 and sent me an update saying they are taking it away - but not refunding my money.

😠 Stay away from this company. The ran an unauthorized charge to my card for $148 and I have been on the phone for 2 days now trying to get it taken care of. Every time I call I get told something else, they say that my cancellation request is being handled but the next person will tell me that they never received it. They play games which I can't understand why they would risk their reputation and waste their own time. I am disputing the charge through my bank but this has been an absolute nightmare!

😠 Joyent could be the worst hosting company on the planet. I own a Facebook application and i pay joyent montly fees to host it. I use 2 servers, one app and one DB server. I have limited knowledge of running servers so i pay joyent $199 per service to fix issues and tune the DB. Now the DB is running very slow. I email them to get help, they send me a bunch of jargain, which i dont understand, that is why i pay them extra.
They have the worst customer support, it takes forever to hear back from them. Still waiting to hear from them after 2 days on how to fix the issues they fixed a month ago.
DO NOT SIGN UP with JOYENT, you will regret it.
