😁 I have viewed serveral reviews here, but I want to write a genuine review. They are much reliable and cost friendly. I will defnitely suggest them to others. I have been with fdc servers for last 4 years. I felt there was nothing remarkable with these guys. But with time, the service was pretty smooth without much issue. Their support could be better, but otherwise they were quite reliable for me.

😁 These guys are wonderful. I have been making use of FDC’s 10Gbps unmetered bandwidth. We started off on the wrong foot with some server side issue shutting down my site for couple of hours. Fortunately the support was good and they patched up quickly. It’s been 3 years now and i’m satisfied with these guys.

😠 Too much downtimes
I am currently with FDC servers but am looking for an alternative over frequent server downtimes.
The seems not to have solution for DDOS attacks.
At least in a day I get nothing less than 30 minutes of downtimes.
and this happen during the peak traffic hour.
I regret ever hosting with this company. I have opened several requests but FDC told me they have nothing to do to avoid DDOS attack so if u're looking for reliable host, I dont recommend them

😠 Stay away, crappy service
Ordered a VPS located in Denver.
Starting at day one I had terrible connection problems towards my server, download rate was below 100 kbyte/sec (I ordered a 100 Mbit/sec server...). Most of the time I could not even log in via ssh as the connection was so slow.
As I'm located in Switzerland I did some tests with my Amazon EC2 instances at North-Virginia and on Google App Engine in California: same low speed.
Later this week, my server was turned off for "maintenance" for more than 10 h.
Even though you can rent a server on a monthly basis, please be aware there is a strict "no refund" policy. So while FDC was completely failing to provide even a minimal service, they do not refund any money.

I would highly recommend finding a different provider if you go this route. I’ve had several issues with FDCServers before, but this one takes the cake.
I was giving them not a first, not a second, but a third chance to prove their worth to me, by purchasing a small VDS as a test run before possibly purchasing a dedicated server or two from them for a mid-west server to offer my customers.
I pay for 24/7 up time on my service. Friday morning at around 4:15 am EST I get a call from a customer I had just sold an account between 5 and 6 hours before hand. He’s angry that he’s purchased a hosting account from myself, and hasn’t even had it half a day and it is already down. So I climb out of bed and log in to the FDC OnApp panel to see that my server there is going through a disk destroy/migrate process.
At this point I file a support ticket checking to see if it is possibly a hardware failure and it is recovering itself. Much to my surprise I receive a reply from an employee [read more...]

😁 They answer support requests instantly, and I don't mean they respond with 'researching it' they respond with 'taken care of' - or whatever's needed.
The 100Mb connection is like working on a LAN, and the price cannot be beat. If you can do most of your own server work, this is the best option on the planet.
Every other option out there would have been $100+ more a month.

😠 To anyone that thinks to use FDC, DO NOT!!!! they are a bunch of crooks with the WORST service EVER. If you dont believe me, try right now to call them, YOU CANT. NO ONE PICKS UP. I also bet there Live help is offline. When my site was down and they wouldnt respond to my tickets, I started calling them, they finally after 2 hours of back to back calls picked up, sounded like a guy in his house and THREATENED to terminate my service if I keep calling. HEY JERK - IF YOU MORONS PICK UP LIKE A NORMAL COMPANY DOES, I WONT NEED TO CALL 100 TIMES !!!!!!!! I Used to be a customer for 3 years, NO MORE, and PLEASE do not use them, they are the WORST WORST WORST COMPANY! My site goes down EVERY WEEK ONCE!

😃 Very quick support... Usually respond within 1-5 minutes. I think most people are confused because they don't realize these servers are unmanaged. This means they will not fix your websites. They will fix your server hardware/OS, just not any configuration that should be done on your end. Good price and fast support.
