😠 I missed my renewal in Dec 2020 - card had expired. and I went on holidays. All my email stopped on 21/01/2021. Followed up with them on 27/01 - what an ordeal! Over an hour on the phone -- they weren't set up to accept a late payment without using email which I didn't have! Guy I spoke to was very slow and wouldn't say anything when he was about to put me on hold - very poor customer service.

😠 Their support team is an absolute a joke. They do not know what they are doing. After each question, they put you on hold and check for the answer. If they get annoyed with questions you will be put on hold forever and block your number so you cannot make any more calls. The only way to get back to them is by using another number.

😠 Had domain and exchange hosting with domain central and while it's always been a touch flaky, the past month has been so poor I made the decision to change hosting.
There have been many delays to the transfer process, even though I never set it up, domain privacy was set and this delayed the process by 6 days. I'm still waiting to see if the transfer will ever go ahead...
Support is an absolute joke, good luck getting anyone to respond to the actual questions you ask. That will be over email or web because its impossible to get them over phone.
Worst service ever, stay away!!!

Email servers constantly down.
They often don't respond to emails for help.
The 'live help' guys just ask you to email help@domaincentral most of the time, and their names always indicate they are off in another part of the world. Probably not their fault, but they find it really hard to answer direct questions - if you ask them 'how many hours until this is resolved' they will just shoot back robotic responses like 'thank you please bear with us while we work on your issue'
I have been with them for 5 years, have registered and hosted 7 domains only because I didn't know any better, but now enough is enough and I can't afford any more damage to my business!

DomainCentral does underhanded and in my opinion illegal things to their customers.
The switched over half of my domain names to privacy protection without my consent. Consequentially, when I am trying to transfer the domain names to another registar, I can't. They are sending the links for me to confirm the transfer to contact@privacyprotect.org because DomainCentral changed the email address from my original email address without my consent.
Also, their customer service is horrible. They will be perfect until you spend money with them. After you are a customer they will not answer any questions accurately or try to be helpful. They have a link on their website where you can chat with a live representative. Before you are a customer you will always be able to access this. However, after you submitt a ticket to the help center you may not be able to access this. They have blocked my IP address from their chat link.
