Verpex is a privately owned UK web hosting company founded in 2018 and launched commercially toward the end of that year. It operates as part of World Host Group, with more than 50 employees working across the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Israel, and Nigeria. Within its first four years, the company had expanded to more than 20,000 active customers and over 250,000 hosted websites across 181 countries.

The business was created by hosting industry veterans several years after its co-founders sold their previous hosting companies to GoDaddy. Sebastian De Lemos, Dominic Edward Taylor, and Idan Cohen are company directors, bringing substantial experience from earlier hosting, infrastructure, and online service businesses.

Expansion has included both organic growth and acquisitions. Shark Hosting and Chick Hosting became part of Verpex in July 2021, adding approximately 10,000 customers. Their websites were eventually closed and their customers, domains, hosting accounts, and billing services were migrated into the Verpex platform. Three hosting brand acquisitions were completed during 2022, alongside the opening of a support center in Lagos. The company continued expanding its global cloud infrastructure during 2025.

Shared hosting is built for personal websites, company pages, blogs, portfolios, and smaller online stores. The standard environment includes NVMe storage, LiteSpeed web servers, cPanel, CloudLinux, Softaculous, free SSL certificates, daily backups, email accounts, databases, malware protection, and free website migration. CloudLinux isolates individual accounts, reducing the possibility that one customer can consume enough CPU, memory, or disk resources to destabilize other websites on the same server.

Cloud web hosting adds scalable resource allocation and provides a practical upgrade path for websites that need more capacity than basic shared hosting. Customers receive cPanel access for files, databases, domains, email, backups, and application management. The plans include automatic SSL, off-site backups, malware scanning, account isolation, and multiple server locations.

WordPress can be installed through the standard shared hosting environment or operated through the specialized Managed WordPress platform. Free SSL, daily backups, white-label service, malware protection, automated application installation, outbound mail filtering, and unlimited migrations are included.

The traditional reseller range supports approximately 15, 60, or 100 customer websites, depending on the package. Storage allocations reach 50 GB, 180 GB, or 300 GB of NVMe capacity, while mailboxes and databases are generally unlimited. Customers can also use WHMCS to automate billing, provisioning, account activation, and customer management.

A second reseller platform uses Enhance Control Panel. Enhance provides custom branding, responsive administration, customer packages, reseller tiers, role isolation, containerized websites, incremental backups, WordPress management, and multi-server clustering. It can manage domains, DNS, email, databases, websites, and servers through one interface. Billing integrations are available for WHMCS, Blesta, HostBill, and Upmind, while built-in migration tools can transfer websites, email, and passwords from cPanel or Plesk.

Available configurations extend from 4 GB to 32 GB RAM, with AMD EPYC processing, KVM virtualization, 100 GB to 400 GB storage, and between 1 TB and 4 TB of monthly transfer. Every managed cloud server receives at least a 1 Gbit/s network port.

Managed cloud servers support cPanel and WHM, CloudLinux, Apache or LiteSpeed, JetBackup, Softaculous, MariaDB, Node.js, Python, Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch, SSH, SFTP, automatic SSL, malware filtering, web application firewall protection, and continuous monitoring. Backups run twice daily, and individual files, databases, email accounts, or complete hosting accounts can be restored. These servers are well suited to agencies, larger ecommerce websites, busy WordPress installations, and customers who need dedicated resources without employing their own system administrator.

Domain services cover new registrations and transfers. Domains remain registered in the customer’s name, and WHOIS privacy is available for supported extensions. Incoming transfers may include a compulsory one-year extension, depending on the domain extension. UK domains can be transferred using the Verpex IPSTAG.

Most hosting products include free automated SSL. Separate SSL products are available for customers requiring domain validation, organization validation, extended validation, wildcard protection, or multi-domain coverage.

Professional and business email services can be purchased separately from web hosting.
