The business started in a garage and grew into an established provider serving tens of thousands of customers and hosting hundreds of thousands of domains. Its main operations remain in Michigan, supported by an in-house technical team rather than outsourced frontline assistance.

The company uses the TotalChoice Hosting, Inc. name for its main business presence, while some service agreements identify TotalChoice Hosting LLC as the contracting entity. Customers purchasing long-term or infrastructure services should confirm the legal entity listed on the order form and invoice.

Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Smart Hands, Domain Registration, Email Hosting, SSL Certificates, WordPress Hosting, Website Builder tools, DNS management, and server administration. The VPS range includes unmanaged and managed options. The entry-level Starter VPS provides 512 MB RAM, one CPU core, 30 GB of SSD storage, and 500 GB of monthly transfer. This package does not include a control panel and is intended primarily for administrators comfortable working directly from the command line.

Managed VPS configurations increase resources to as much as 4 GB RAM, four CPU cores, 185 GB of SSD storage, and unlimited bandwidth. These packages include cPanel/WHM Solo and assistance with operating-system updates, control-panel updates, service monitoring, firewall settings, module installation, service restarts, and troubleshooting.

Managed support also covers common Apache, MySQL, Exim, SSL, server-load, and network problems. Root access remains available, making the service suitable for customers who want administrative control without handling every server-maintenance task alone.

Dedicated Server options begin with an economical Dell-based configuration and continue with unmanaged and fully managed dual-Xeon systems. The main higher-tier configurations include 32 GB of DDR4 memory, 1 TB RAID-1 storage, a separate 1 TB local backup drive, SSD upgrade options, and five IPv4 addresses.

Custom dedicated configurations are available when the standard CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, or operating-system combinations do not meet the requirements of a particular application.

The least-expensive dedicated server still uses DDR3 memory and a 250 GB drive. It is best suited to light workloads, legacy applications, development environments, private services, or customers whose main priority is obtaining inexpensive physical hardware.

The larger dual-Xeon systems are more appropriate for production hosting, databases, business applications, multiple websites, and workloads that require greater memory capacity or storage redundancy.

TCH SiteBuilder is included with hosting packages and provides more than 350 responsive templates, over 40 widgets, drag-and-drop editing, one-click publishing, multimedia support, maps, forms, and mobile-compatible layouts. It gives less technical customers an alternative to WordPress and other content-management systems.

Domain services cover registration, transfer, automatic renewal, locking, forwarding, masking, registrant changes, DNS management, status notifications, and backordering. Domain names are not included automatically with hosting plans.

Customer-facing services are provided in English, and prices are listed in US dollars.

The overall product structure is practical and easy to scale. A personal site can begin on shared hosting, an agency can use reseller hosting, a growing application can move to a managed VPS, and a larger business can progress to dedicated hardware or rack colocation.
