*📜 Plan description
The 16vCPU / 32GB Amsterdam Cloud Server is positioned as a cloud instance for workloads that would traditionally require a dedicated server but benefit from fast scaling and redundancy. It provides 16 virtual CPU cores on Xeon Gold class hardware together with 32GB of DDR4 memory, using NVME based cloud storage that can be expanded up to 4TB per instance. Traffic is delivered over guaranteed unmetered channels in the 1Gbps to 10Gbps range, meaning usage is limited by the committed port speed rather than by a fixed number of gigabytes. The platform includes at least 1–10 IPv4 addresses with the ability to order additional addresses when justified, making it suitable for complex hosting, container clusters or multiple SSL sites. Operating system choice is configurable and the instance can be delivered with Linux or Windows as required, with optional managed administration if the customer prefers not to maintain the server themselves. Same day activation is standard for available configurations so projects can be moved quickly without long lead times. The extra CPU and memory headroom is intended for larger databases, media sites or multiple virtual machines running on top of the instance.
All Amsterdam cloud servers are part of the Private Host high performance cloud platform intended as a replacement for traditional dedicated servers. Instances run on Xeon Gold powered nodes with full NVME 4.0 SSD storage and triple replication of data across the cluster so services continue operating even if individual hardware components fail. Customers can request online backups to separate cloud storage with rollback options for the last day, week, month or year and benefit from unmetered traffic on guaranteed bandwidth channels rather than per gigabyte billing. Performance monitoring and proactive alerts are included so that bottlenecks are investigated early and resources can be scaled before they affect end users. Nvidia GPU support is available for media workloads such as video transcoding or AI inference, and servers can be configured with the customer's choice of ISPmanager, Plesk or DirectAdmin control panel or with a fully managed configuration. Experienced staff with more than a decade in hosting provide best effort support over email, tickets, phone and Telegram 24x7. Pricing is shown excluding VAT with invoices issued in advance, typical payment methods include credit and debit cards, PayPal and wire transfer, and the company advertises around 99.995 percent cloud network uptime together with flexible upgrade options and the possibility to discuss refunds individually if expectations are not met.

📄 Editorial Review
Private Host BV is a Netherlands-based provider focused on high-performance infrastructure in the Amsterdam area, built for customers who prioritize performance, reliability, and hands-on operational support. Their portfolio is clearly oriented toward demanding workloads (especially video streaming platforms), with an emphasis on modern hardware, reserved network capacity, and managed assistance rather than mass-market shared hosting.Their current offer is centered on five main service lines:
- Cloud Servers (Amsterdam): Designed as a replacement for classic dedicated servers, with same-day activation, Intel Xeon Gold-based nodes, NVMe 4.0 storage, high availability, and options for NVIDIA GPU (CUDA / NVENC / NVDEC) workloads.
- VPS/VDS (Amsterdam): Virtual Dedicated Servers with Xeon Gold CPU resources, NVMe 4.0 storage, redundant clustering, optional full online backups, and unmetered traffic.
- CDN for Video: Anycast-based video CDN tailored for streaming use cases, including MP4 → HLS real-time conversion, hotlink protection, caching, and KVS integration.
- DDoS Protection: Reverse-proxy DDoS mitigation with geo-distributed scrubbing and support designed around quick operator interaction.
- Remote Hands (Amsterdam region / Netherlands): On-site technical work in Amsterdam-area data centers and (with travel fees) broader Netherlands coverage.
As a note, dedicated servers and colocation are deprecated in their lineup, with a preference for cloud-based alternatives and managed infrastructure approaches.
