Private cages are configurable, high security enclosures built within the data hall to house multiple cabinets under your own perimeter, ideal for sensitive applications and teams that need segregated access, custom layouts or hardware specific security policies. A cage provides an extra layer of protection on top of site wide controls, while preserving access to the data center’s shared critical systems. Within the cage you can deploy standard 19 inch cabinets with dual 100 percent rated A and B power feeds and UPS protection to each cabinet, choose raised floor for conventional loads or concrete floor areas for high density deployments, and scale by adding cabinets and containment modules in line with demand. Cooling and humidity are managed to ASHRAE A1 allowable guidelines, with advanced options including direct to chip cooling for HPC. Power metering at rack level and a DCIM portal present live consumption and environmental telemetry for each footprint so your operations team can tune power usage and thermal performance. Physical operations are supported through secure 24x7 access for registered personnel, CCTV coverage, and a scheduled, ID verified loading bay for equipment moves. Fire risk is mitigated using VESDA very early smoke detection, additional point detection and modern agent based suppression across customer and critical plant areas.
