Arrow Opens Global AI and Cloud Experience Centers - 📅 - Arrow Electronics has opened linked experience centers in Alpharetta and Stockholm to help vendors, channel partners and customers test AI, cloud and security deployments before buying, as enterprises struggle to turn interest in high-growth technologies into workable infrastructure projects and channel providers look for faster ways to prove, price and sell complex multivendor solutions at scale now.
The centers are positioned as demonstration and engineering hubs rather than showrooms. That is the useful part. Enterprises have already heard enough about AI strategy. Many are now stuck on less elegant questions: where the data sits, which infrastructure stack can run the workload, how [...]

The round was co-led by Magnetar and AMD Ventures, with Maverick Silicon, Nexus Venture Partners and Western Frontier returning as investors. The funding will go toward a larger global infrastructure footprint, including next-generation AMD Instinct MI355X GPU clusters for [...]
The company is not claiming a new data center footprint. Not exactly. It is changing how its existing peering locations behave.
That matters because network architecture is increasingly part of hosting differentiation again. For years, much of the market sold compute, storage and support [...]

The company is making the feature available across all plans at no extra cost. That pricing detail matters because bot management has often sat in a gray zone for website owners: important enough to affect performance and cost, but technical enough to be outsourced to security tools, [...]

Supermicro Slides as AI Server Growth Needs More Cash - 📅 - Supermicro shares fell 13% Wednesday after the AI server maker outlined $7 billion in equity-linked financing, a reminder that booming demand for Nvidia-based systems is colliding with component costs, working-capital pressure and dilution risk. The company also disclosed $39 billion in recent AI server orders from more than 20 customers in the past few weeks to date.
The market reaction was predictable. Companies sell stock when they need capital, and existing shareholders usually do not enjoy being reminded that growth can be expensive. Supermicro plans a $5 billion underwritten stock sale through JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, plus a $2 billion at-the-market offering [...]

The old cloud argument was easier. Faster deployment. Elastic capacity. Less infrastructure to manage. Fewer procurement fights over hardware refresh cycles. For years, that was enough to move workloads into public cloud environments, even when parts of the [...]
Zscaler Puts Zero Trust to Work on AI Agent Security - 📅 - Global cybersecurity solutions provider Zscaler is expanding its Zero Trust Exchange to police autonomous AI agents, adding an AI Broker, endpoint controls, access graphing and integrations with AWS, CoreWeave, Databricks, Equinix, Google Cloud, OpenAI and others, as enterprises struggle to secure software agents that communicate, create sub-tasks and reach sensitive data at machine speed across increasingly fragmented environments and cloud estates.
The company is trying to move zero trust from a human access model into a world where software identities act, delegate and make requests faster than security teams can review them. That sounds like the next logical move for a security [...]

Nebius Secures 22MW UK AI Capacity At Kao Data - 📅 - AI cloud provider Nebius has signed a 22MW, 10-year agreement with Kao Data to host major UK AI infrastructure at its Harlow campus, tying inference capacity and GPU-accelerated computing to Britain's wider effort to expand domestic compute for research, enterprise and government-backed AI ambitions under pressure from power, cooling and capital constraints across the market nationwide already.
The deal gives Nebius dedicated capacity inside one of the UK's more specialized AI and high-performance computing campuses. It also gives Kao Data another large customer for a site already positioned around academic research, life sciences, and advanced computing workloads.
