Jan, 2004 : Solis Signs Reseller Agreement with Tucows

📅 January 21, 2004 - Solis Corporation (solis.jp), an accredited registrar of .jp and .co.jp domains, has signed an agreement to resell Tucows (tucows.com) products and services in Japan, the company said on Tuesday.

Tucows is a wholesaler of domain names and an outsourcer of Internet services.
"Ideologically, we felt that Solis fit very well with our approach to business. They have developed a very solid partner network built upon a robust delivery mechanism, easy-to-use interfaces and local Japanese partner support," said David Woroch, vice president of sales for Tucows Inc. "We felt that Solis' solid reputation and insiders' understanding of the marketplace make it the ideal partner for Tucows as we continue to expand our distribution channel in Japan and around the world."
Solis operates what it says is the largest domain reseller network in Japan.
"By combining two already well-established networks of resellers within Japan, we believe the result will not only be strong synergies for our companies, but tremendous advantages for our resellers," said Darshaun Nadeau, president of Solis.
