📅 June 22, 2004 - Sage (sage-inc.com), developer of the BrickServer2 security appliance, announced on Monday that it has added a major transportation service as a new customer. The client is deploying BrickServer2 as part of its Oracle-based application that has both Internet and intranet functionality. Sage is working in partnership with Invictus Technologies (invictus.net), an IT service provider.

BrickServer is a security appliance designed to protect an organization's Web servers from external attack. The appliance is based on the process-based security model, using mandatory access controls directly embedded in the operating system, preventing unauthorized access to system-level function.
"Fortune 500 enterprises are extremely security conscious these days," says Louis Jurgens, executive vice president of Sage Inc. "Providing this very important customer with a BrickServer2, a powerful solution that combats unauthorized access for their mission critical Internet application, validates this."
