(peak10.com -> flexential.com), a Southeast data center and managed services provider, announced on Thursday that supervisory special agent Doris Gardner from the FBI computer crime and infrastructure protection squad will speak at the company's next executive seminar. "Combatting Cyber Crimes", held on Wednesday, December 15 at noon at Peak 10's Charlotte, North Carolina data center, will discuss how to combat computer intrusion crimes.

The FBI plays an integral role in cyberspace as the lead law enforcement agency for investigating cyber attacks by foreign adversaries and terrorists. The FBI works to prevent criminals, sexual predators, and others intent on using the Internet and online services to steal from, defraud, and otherwise victimize citizens, businesses, and communities.
The hour-long seminar will include lunch and an optional tour of Peak 10's Charlotte data center. The announcement comes off the heels of last week's opening of Peak 10's second data center in Tampa.
