Mar 9, 2005 : Host Color Acquires 60 Host

📅 March 9, 2005 - Web hosting provider Host Color (hostcolor.com ) announced on Wednesday that it had reached an agreement to acquire 60 Host, a budget hosting provider with approximately 500 customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

60 Host offers a single Web hosting package with 600MB of space and 6GB of monthly bandwidth. Host Color says it will add more features to the plan, such as site optimization services, but will keep the price under $5 per month.
"We have been attracted by the positive image that 60 Host has built. Although it is a small company, it has succeeded in targeting its market very effectively and we believe we could develop this hosting brand even more," Host Color said in a release.
60 Host recently deployed Host Color's proprietary control panel.
