Apr 22, 2005 : Cord Hosting Looks to Buy Web Hosts

📅 April 22, 2005 - Hosting provider Cord Hosting (cordhosting.com) announced this week that it is looking to purchase small to medium sized hosting firms with between 50 and 50,000 clients.


The California company says it is prepared to offer sellers reasonable deals, and has promised first class customer support to new clients, as well as a smooth and straight-forward migration process.

"We have completed highly successful acquisitions in the past, and are looking forward to doing many more in the near future," said Cord Hosting president Errett Cord.

The company is primarily searching for providers that offer virtual Web hosting services, and use either Plesk or Cpanel control panels. Prospective companies should also be on FreeBSD or Linux-based servers. "Sellers can feel confident knowing Cord Hosting will take care of their customers, and provide an outstanding level of customer service," said Cord.
