Aug 18, 2005 : Network Redux Supports Ruby on Rails

📅 August 18, 2005 - Web hosting provider Network Redux (networkredux.com ) announced earlier this week that it had launched complete support for the open source Ruby on Rails (rubyonrails.org) framework.

Ruby on Rails is an open source framework written in Ruby for writing applications with lesser amounts of code.

"Network Redux emphasizes toolsets unique to Web developers on the cutting edge of technology," says Thomas Brenneke, president of Network Redux. "We've complemented our operating environments with bleeding edge compiler, scripting and run-time technology such as GCC/G++, PHP/MySQL with Zend Optimizer, IBM's Java SDK/JRE, Perl and Python - it became a common request, and a justifiable requirement to add Ruby/RoR support throughout our entire network."
