📅 - Email hosting provider Greatmail (greatmail.com) announced on Thursday it is offering enterprise email hosting plans and pricing starting at 95 cents per user per month. Customers can host up to 100,000 mailboxes on an email hosting platform. Each mailbox includes 50MB of storage, and additional storage can be purchased for $18 per gigabyte per month.
Greatmail provides enterprise class email hosting through server clustering and raid array file storage. Email hosting clusters include load balanced mail servers and Network Appliance file servers. All plans include firewall security, server level virus scanning, user customizable spam filtering, mail forwarding, vacation messages and auto responders.
End users can access their email through a Web based mail program or any mail client application that supports POP3 or IMAP4 connectivity and SMTP authentication. Greatmail offers phone and email technical support, as well as DNS hosting and domain name registrations.
The company also hosts private label mail solutions for developers, Web hosting companies and Internet service providers through semi-dedicated or dedicated hosting clusters.
