) announced on Tuesday it has upgraded its current hosting plans to extend the value of its solutions and provide its customers with a larger range of plans and services.

The previous plans were titled Nickel, Copper, Bronze and Silver. Under the new structure, Platinum and Gold have been combined and the new plans are called Starter, Business, Corporate and Enterprise. Additional upgraded features include increased disk space, data transfer, email accounts, and the lowering of domain registration fees for all major domain names including .com, .net, .org, .info, and .biz.

"The new upgrades are a large improvement from the previous hosting plans as we look to further help our target customers' online and Web hosting needs," says Jeff Pettit, Host Depot's VP of sales and marketing. "In addition, this will greatly improve our existing customer relationships. We're giving our customers more value, service and business solutions for less, while providing them with the best in hosting services available."

The upgrades will lead to a greater number of server features and increased SQL database and email services while maintaining or lowering pricing for existing customers.
