The structure is due to be fully operational on September 1, 2026, with partners given a larger role in strategic accounts across Europe.
The move says something about where the European cloud market is headed. Not just more compute. More control. More procurement politics. More public-sector sensitivity around where data sits, who operates the infrastructure, and how AI systems are governed once they move beyond pilots.
