GlobalConnect to Link Sweden and Finland with New Subsea Cable by 2026

📅 July 3, 2025 - GlobalConnect, a leading Nordic provider of digital infrastructure, has launched construction of a new subsea fiber-optic cable that will directly connect Sweden and Finland via the Åland Islands. The project, valued at approximately €14 million, is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
