📅 - NTT America (nttamerica.com), a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of global data and IP services provider NTT Communications, announced on Tuesday it has appointed Tetsuro Yamaguchi as president and CEO of NTT America. Yamaguchi succeeds Tatsuo Kawasaki to the position effective immediately, and will be based in NTT America's New York headquarters.
In his new role, Yamaguchi will be responsible for the management and development of the company's North American operations. He will oversee NTT America's product development, strategic initiatives, carrier and other vendor relations and company-wide revenue growth effort.

Prior to being appointed, Yamaguchi was VP of the financial industry sales department for enterprise division I at NTT Communications, where he was responsible for all of NTT Communications' large financial accounts, including those with the major US banks. He has been with NTT since 1979, and has served in numerous managerial roles across the organization.
