Dec, 2024 : Kaspersky Study: Daily Malware Detections Up 14%




📅 - Kasperskys most recent statistics shows that, on average, 467,000 malicious files were detected per day in 2024 - a 14% rise from the year before - indicating that the cybersecurity scene is only getting more intense. Part of the yearly Kaspersky Security Bulletin (KSB), the findings highlight growing worries about changing cyber threats, such as notable increases in Trojan infections and novel malware strategies.

Windows users remain primary targets, according to the Kaspersky report, with 93% of all detected malware-infected files attributed to the platform.
