This bare metal service was launched by Equinix in 2020 following the acquisition of Packet for $335 million and the integration of bare metal into the Equinix portfolio.
The decision to sunset Equinix Metal would align with Equinixs long-term strategy to enhance its core offerings and meet evolving customer needs.
