Samsung Starts Mass Production Next-Gen V-NAND to Boost Server Efficiency
📅 - Samsung Electronics has begun mass production of its one-terabit (Tb) quad-level cell (QLC) 9th-generation vertical NAND (V-NAND), reinforcing its position as a leader in high-capacity, high-performance NAND flash technology. This development follows the earlier mass production of triple-level cell (TLC) 9th-generation V-NAND, which was initiated in April of this year.
By achieving mass production of both QLC and TLC variants within a short time frame, Samsung aims to address the growing demand for advanced server storage solutions, particularly as artificial intelligence (AI) applications continue to evolve.
