📅 August 21, 2024 - According to recent findings from Synergy Research, just twenty metropolitan areas are responsible for sixty percent of the globaldata center colocationmarket at the present time. Similarly, only twenty state or metropolitan markets are responsible for sixty-two percent of the global hyperscale data center capacity at the present time.

With about 7% of the market, Northern Virginia is the largest data center colocation market. Tokyo comes in last at 4%, followed by Beijing, London, and Shanghai, each of which contributes around 5% of the total.
