CtrlS Purchases Plot for Greenfield Edge Data Center in Patna, India
📅 - CtrlS Datacenters, one of Asias largest data center operators and colocation providers, has acquired a new land parcel in Patna for the development of a greenfield edge datacenter. This acquisition, facilitated through the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), is situated in the Pataliputra Industrial Area, merely 300 meters from the companys existing Patna DC1 facility.
The new colocation data center will see an investment of approximately Rs 400 crore (approximately $48M) and is expected to feature a 10MW IT load capacity, capable of housing around 1,000 racks.
