👈 Official Responses: 0) announced on Tuesday it has opened three new colocation facilities in western Washington State.
ISOMEDIA opened two new facilities in Bellevue and Seattle, adding to its newly expanded facility in Redmond. The remodeled Redmond data center is now double the size with expanded colocation space and new racking options. ISOMEDIA has also upgraded its data center security with nightly inspections by professional security personnel and upgraded video surveillance.
Along with the expansion of the Redmond data center, ISOMEDIA has opened an enterprise class facility in Bellevue and one in The Westin Building in downtown Seattle. ISOMEDIA says colocation at any of the three facilities enables customers to be connected directly to a redundant gigabit Internet backbone in ISOMEDIA's secure operating center.
"I don't think putting all your eggs in one data center is wise these days," says Stephen Milton, CEO and chief technical officer of ISOMEDIA. "We believe in smaller, distributed data centers, where our customers can keep their servers close to their developers. ISOMEDIA is excited to be able to offer colocation options to customers in three of the major business centers in western Washington."
