📅 - Launched on 24 October 1985, .IL was one of the first country-code extensions to hit the then-virgin domain registration market. Only two ccTLDs had been introduced before .IL, namely.US and .UK.
The .IL domain extension is administered by the Israel Internet Association – a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting the use of the Internet for research, communication and collaboration purposes.
