Nov 23, 2016 : Linode Adds Another Facility in Tokyo
📅 - Due to the growing activity in the Asia/Pacific market, Cloud Server Provider Linode has added a second data center in Tokyo. This also comes after the DDoS attacks the company endured on the Atlanta facility in September, along with even more attacks in December 2015.
The goal of the new facility is to provide some safeguards against these attacks. The company plans to use virtual server instances from KVM to Xen when the new facility opens. They also believe the added bandwidth will help protect the company from future DDoS attacks.
