Oct, 2016 : Texas Research Helps Data Centers Meet SLAs


📅 - Data Center operators struggle to meet service level objectives in order to keep customers happy. In order to meet those demands, data centers often over provision the servers, which inflates operating costs and creates inefficiency.

An Associate professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, Hao Che, has been awarded $799,950 in a grant by the National Science Foundation. The grant was awarded to help Che develop his model of delivery without the over provisioning.
