WP Engine has Opened a New Technical Support and Innovation Center
📅 - WP Engine, a WordPress managed hosting provider, recently announced the opening of a Technical Support and Innovation center in Ireland. This center will serve more than 50,000 brands across 69 EMEA countries and will create about 100 jobs in Limerick, which is where the center is located.
WP Engine was created in 2010 and it's headquartered in Austin, Texas. They offer website hosting specifically for WordPress users and have a presence in San Francisco, San Antonio, London and now Ireland.

📅 - Moscow to Replace Microsoft After Pressure from Putin - Following Russian President Vladimir Putin's call for Russia to replace foreign tech with domestic replacements, Moscow city is planning to switch all Microsoft programs with Russian software alternatives. This happens amid increasing tensions between Russia and the U.S.

Cloudflare announced this week they will be building 14 new data centers, across five continents. Following this expansion, Cloudflare will be operating in 100 cities, spanning 49 countries.
The new data centers will boost their networking capacity to over 10 terabits per second.
