📅 - A recent estimate conducted by IDC, a research firm, valued the worldwide big data market at $136 billion. If you have an interest in big data, this figure should come as no surprise.

What is shocking, however, is the estimated annual cost of poor quality data: $3.1 trillion, as IBM estimates in one report. Even to someone working in the data field, that number is alarming.

This bad data is both costly and time consuming for data scientists to sift through, which leads many to believe that there could be a new market emerging.
