California Man Pleads Guilty to NetSuite Hacks; Charged $124K for Damages
📅 - Robert Saunders, a California man who pled guilty to causing intentional damage of a computer network through several hacks perpetrated in 2012, has been sentenced to one year in prison and a $124,000 fine.
Even with an additional three years' probation included in the sentencing, Saunders received less jail time than past hackers. The hacks reportedly resulted in $189,000 in losses to NetSuite.
