📅 January 13, 2016 - eBay patched a security vulnerability recently, which could have exposed credentials of many customers. It was a cross-site scripting vulnerability and the company has declined to comment on it to a security researcher for about a month.

The vulnerability could have exposed millions of customers to phishing attacks. It could have allowed hackers into the system to steal not only credentials, but also funds. They may have been able to scam other users, as well.
