eSecureData, a Vancouver-based company, has a long standing as a provider of IaaS in the Canadian market. They have delivered managed, colocation and dedicated hosting to thousands of customers since 2007. The company also has a second data center in the works, which will be located in Toronto. .

📅 - Existing OneDrive Customers will Get to Keep Storage - After Microsoft announced the storage limits of the OneDrive cloud storage service would be reduced, customers shared how unhappy they were. Microsoft has now responded by allowing customers to keep their 15GB of base storage, along with their 15GB camera roll bonus.
A post n OneDrive UserVoice feedback was a huge reason for the decision. It has received more than 72,000 upvotes causing Microsoft to apologize to customers and keep the free OneDrive offering at 15GB instead of downgrading it to just 5GB. .
📅 - DDoS Attack Causes Moonfruit to Take Sites Offline - A recent DDoS attack has caused DIY website builder Moonfruit to take client website offline. This happened four days after they were hit by the attack and the sites were offline for up to 12 hours.
Moonfruit, a UK-based company, took sites down at 10:00 GMT on Monday and the latest update says they are still working on resolving the issue. Matt Casey, Director of Moonfruit, believe the party responsible for the attack is called the Armada Collective. The attack lasted a full 45 minutes and Moonfruit was contacted for a ransom.
The group responsible also told Moonfruit if they didn't pay the ransom, they would continue the attack on Monday. .

Currently, nobody has taken responsibility for the breach, which happened on December 9th, 2015. The company has released a statement to apologize to customers and has promised to investigate the incident.
