📅 - UK-based Web hosting provider Hosted (hosted.co.uk) announced on Tuesday it is offering a discount promotional offer for the month of January.
The company says both Linux and Windows hosting plans have been discounted by 50 percent.
Under the new promotion, the Hosted Intro Plan with 1GB of Web space and a free domain name now starts at £1.99 per month while the Business Extra plan, which includes five free domain names, a static IP address and a choice of MSSQL or MySQL database options, now starts at £9.49 per month.
Hosted also recently announced it had implemented the automation and billing platform for its new shared Linux and Windows hosting services in eight weeks using SWsoft's PEM.

Savvis intends to locate the new data centers in Atlanta, Georgia, New York, New York, Washington, DC and Santa Clara, California, and plans to open them by the fourth quarter of 2007.
