DiscountASP.NET Launches SQL 2012 Hosting in the US and UK

DiscountASP.NET, a Windows Hosting provider, recently announced the launch of Microsoft SQL 2012 hosting, available to all customers as a new hosting add-on option in both US and European data center locations. Microsoft SQL Server 2012 is a major update to its enterprise database. Some of the SQL Server 2012 feature enhancements include general performance improvements and contained databases.

The company avers that with the launch of SQL 2012 hosting, it introduces new SQL 2012 management tools, including an on-demand SQL 2012 database backup tool, an automated SQL 2012 database restore tool, an automated Attach MDF File tool, and APIs for creating SQL backups. Customers can manage their SQL 2012 databases with Microsoft SQL Management Studio and the company supports SSL encrypted SQL connections.
