SmarterTools Inc., an information technology-management software company, today announced that it will provide more than $100,000 in Exchange ActiveSync licensing to small businesses as part of its annual holiday promotion which runs through January 4, 2011.
The company explains that starting today, anyone that purchases a new SmarterMail Enterprise license or that upgrades an existing license to SmarterMail Enterprise will receive 25 Exchange ActiveSync licenses at no additional charge. With Exchange ActiveSync, SmarterMail users can access their mailbox anytime, anywhere from any mobile device, including the iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Droid and Windows Phones. Plus, Exchange ActiveSync provides two-way push synchronization of email, calendar, contacts, tasks and notes in real time, so mailbox data is always up-to-date.
It mentions that during the holiday promotion, customers that purchase any SmarterTools product or reinstate their expired upgrade protection will receive the silver technical support package for free. Normally priced at $249, the silver support package includes 10 email support incidents and can be used with any SmarterTools product.
