Aug, 2010 : BlueTie to Offer Hosted Exchange 2010 Hybrid
📅 - Company provides businesses flexibility to customize a solution for maximum value.
BlueTie, a provider of email messaging and collaboration solutions, today launched a hybrid email solution that integrates BlueTie Business Email with Hosted Exchange 2010. The company claims that this combination of web-based email products marks the first implementation of a SaaS hybrid offering using the latest version of Microsoft's Hosted Exchange Server.
It states that the product gives businesses the power to choose between two Hosted Exchange plans and two BlueTie Business Email plans as well as an assortment of well integrated value added services including email archiving and delivery confirmation when provisioning users. This allows customers to meet the business needs of each individual employee while remaining as cost effective as possible for the entire organization. Customers can manage all their users from a single interface regardless of which plans are chosen. The company adds that the hybrid product is guaranteed under their 100% uptime service level agreement.
It further states that according to a Forrester Research report, companies can expect to save approximately 25% by swapping their on-premise email for a pure Hosted Exchange solution. Since its hosted email product is priced about significantly lower than standard Hosted Exchange 2010 mailboxes, the company estimates most businesses can save an additional 50% by embracing the hybrid model.
"Channel partners and businesses select BlueTie for value and innovation, which is exactly what this product is intended to provide," commented Shawn Ryan, Product Manager, BlueTie, Inc. "Exchange 2010 is a remarkably powerful messaging platform, though it is the more expensive of the two solutions and for most businesses only a handful of users truly require the advanced functionality it affords. By integrating the two products into one cost effective solution, customers are no longer forced to choose just one email plan for an entire business."
"We know that the cost savings are compelling to businesses of all sizes, but we also believe it is important that every user have the functionality they require," Ryan said. "Marrying our high value business class webmail suite with the latest version of Hosted Exchange achieves that goal and is something nobody has accomplished until now."
