Jul 21, 2010 : ServInt Launches "KickStart" Program

📅 - Company's new initiative to simplify the sign-up, turn-up and migration processes for new customers.

ServInt, a provider of managed web hosting for businesses worldwide, today announced that it is launching a new initiative, entitled "KickStart," to simplify the sign-up, turn-up and migration processes for new customers. The company says that the effort will encompass new online tutorials and walk-through instructions, streamlined internal processes and extensive "real-person" interaction between its Managed Services Team members and new customers.

It states that during pre-launch testing, the KickStart service received high marks from new customers who categorized themselves as "needing help" during the sign-up/turn-up process. Specific user comments praised the "easy to use" web-based walk-throughs, and the in-person phone outreach from members of the company's US-based Managed Services Team.

ServInt Founder and CEO Reed Caldwell explained the KickStart service, saying, "People frequently see ServInt as a company that caters to the needs of web savvy Internet professionals. But we've also always had our share of business hosting 'newbies' who turn to us based on our reputation for product and service excellence. Recently, we've seen strong growth among this market segment, and we want to be sure their specific customer service needs are met at what can seem like the most daunting phase of the hosting experience: getting their site up and running."

"The outbound, pro-active telephone contact by ServInt staff may be the most important component of the KickStart program," said Caldwell. "As good as our online tutorials and walk-throughs may be, nothing substitutes for a friendly call from a qualified, friendly technical service professional, just to make sure everything is going well in the sign-up process."
