Carat Networks, a provider of IT hosting services, today announced the launch of VPS.US, a new wholly-owned subsidiary offering United States-based Virtual Private Servers powered by cloud hosting technology. The company says that all Virtual Private Servers hosted by the subsidiary will be physically located within the United States.
The company articulates that in development for the past three months, the new subsidiary leverages its experience in hosting, which spans many years, to deliver world-class customer service and support. VPS.US also builds on the latest in hosting technology, including the highly flexible, available, and redundant nature of cloud hosting technology.
According to it, Virtual Private Servers from VPS.US can be customized in a number of ways. Plans start at $19 per month for 10GB of storage space and 250GB of monthly bandwidth. All stored data is protected by RAID drive configurations. Customers can choose to locate their Virtual Private Server in one of three United States data centers, in Atlanta, Chicago, or Salt Lake City, Utah.
