C7 Data Centers, a provider of colocation, virtualization, remote backup, and disaster recovery solutions, announced that UK2 Group, a provider of web hosting solutions, has signed a multi-year agreement with it in a move to implement a new U.S. growth strategy. The company states that UK2 Group, with multiple U.S.-based web hosting brands, is moving its premium hosting brand, Utah-based WestHost, to it in a move to improve reliability, increase bandwidth, utilize cutting-edge Cisco gear and offer new products and services soon to be announced for its customers.
It adds that the WestHost move to it is expected to occur within the coming months. It further states that the transition will be well managed and clearly communicated in order to provide a seamless process to WestHost customers who will continue to experience their accustomed levels of support, performance and uptime. The company claims that with a disaster safe location and among the nation's lowest power rates, it offers a robust colocation, data backup and virtual server cloud environment.
