👈 Official Responses: 0) has announced hosting automation control panel Parallels (parallels.com) Plesk Panel 9.0 and Parallels Plesk Billing 6.0 is available to its dedicated hosting customers, giving hosting resellers and service providers the option of using an entire new suite of integrated control panel and recurring billing solutions.

According to the company's announcement late last week, NaviSite's dedicated hosting division now has the the industry's most powerful and complete Parallels Plesk solution for hosting resellers. Launched in December 2008, Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0 is an easy, profitable and complete hosting automation control panel, providing a best-in-class experience with minimal up-front setup. Web hosting resellers will profit from the integration of the Application Packaging Standard, reseller level account control and the deep integration with Parallels Plesk Billing.

"NaviSite has extensive experience servicing web hosting resellers with its own proprietary tools and billing platform," dedicated hosting senior vice president Sumeet Sabharwal said in a statement. "With the addition of Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0, we are able to enhance our offerings for service providers. Enabling small business owners to offer the best Web hosting services and manage their hosted servers easily, efficiently, securely and profitably is one of our primary objectives. The new Parallels Plesk Billing Bundle addresses these objectives in an integrated yet cost-effective manner."

NaviSite's new launch includes Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0 bundled with Parallels Plesk Billing 6.0 for a monthly fee. Parallels service provider division president Jack Zubarev said that the two products' back-office automation capability frees resellers to focus on customer acquisition and service.

"NaviSite's industry leadership, experience in the reseller market, and the Always There support model is optimized to help resellers succeed and achieve profitable growth in an extremely competitive industry," Zubarev said in a statement. "This is enhanced by the combination of Parallels Plesk Panel and Parallels Plesk Billing, which enables resellers to automate back-office tasks so staff are free to focus on revenue-generating activities."

He noted that NaviSite is among the first hosting providers to implement the Parallels Plesk bundle.

Parallels Plesk Billing program manager Jonathan McCarrick discussed the product in an email interview with the WHIR last week. He will be presenting a session on the software 4:35 pm Wednesday, February 4th at the Parallels Summit in Las Vegas.
