Jan 26, 2009 : MaximumASP Offers Trial on VPS Platform

📅 January 26, 2009 - Web hosting provider MaximumASP (maximumasp.com ) announced on Friday it is offering free 30 day introductory accounts on its MaxV platform (maximumasp.com/maxv), which feature Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V virtualization technology.

The introductory offering enables customers to choose between either a MaxV Plan A or Plan B Virtual dedicated hosting plan.

MaxV Virtual Dedicated Plans are hosted on either Windows 2008 or 2003 operating systems with 32- and 64-Bit editions.

MaxV supports SQL Server 2008 and 2005, and high-performance shared SQL servers are also available. According to the press release, the MaxV platform offers "high availability, intelligent monitoring, recurrent backups and scalability."

"As the need to reduce costs, simplify management, and establish sustainable computing practices continues to grow, we will continue to provide only the best growth path options for our customers," says Wade Lewis, managing partner of MaximumASP.

The MaxV dynamic IT infrastructure will support virtualization strategies across server workloads, desktop applications, and both physical and virtual assets.

Founded in 2000, the Louisville, Kentucky-based provides Microsoft Windows based hosting and IT services for more than 48,000 domains in over 60 countries.

In the press release, the company says it focuses on "hosting solutions that combine advanced monitoring and management tools" and "has become a top choice for Microsoft developers seeking a robust hosting platform for mission-critical web applications."

In July, MaximumASP partnered with Quest Software to offer Quest LiteSpeed for SQL Server to provide backups available for SQL Server.
