👈 Official Responses: 0) announced on Thursday that company CEO Bob Parsons has launched a video version of his blog entitled BobParsons.tv (bobparsons.tv).


The video-blog marks Parsons' latest venture into new media, having previously launched a blog (bobparsons.com) in December 2004, and a podcast/satellite radio show in March 2005. In the press release, Go Daddy calls the new initiative an "in-your-face, tell-it-like-it-is video blog used to speak directly to customers, employees and even the media."

Noted for his outspoken and sometimes brash demeanor, Parsons seems to have no qualms about stirring a little controversy. As a former Vienam war veteran, Parsons often expresses his patriotic political views on his radio show and in his blog.

According to the press release, BobParsons.tv will "feature Parsons' commentary, invites criticism and addresses topics ranging from Internet industry issues, to business decisions, company controversies or relevant subjects in the news with the help of video clips and other multimedia elements."

The vlog also has a new address, using the popular .TV domain extension. With the rise in Web.2.0, the popular marketing tool is ideal for publishing and viewing video content.  "We chose the .TV extension for the video blog because it's the natural home for Web video," says Parsons. "Dot-TV provides the right platform for marketing, viral video, and entertainment platforms for businesses and people seeking to leverage new media."
