📅 - On demand security solutions provider Perimeter eSecurity (perimeterusa.com) announced on Monday that it has launched a new suite of Identity Protection Services which builds on its CounterPhish anti-phishing service, enhancing it with its new Pharming Shield offering. The suite of services will be available at a 33 percent discount through the end of April.
"Attacks are becoming increasingly personal because hackers will go to any length to convince end users that an imitation email or Web site is real," says Kevin Prince, CSO of Perimeter eSecurity. "They will even use your security vendor or a federal organization as 'bait.' Fraudulent phishing and pharming sites need to be taken down immediately to thwart further attacks and damage. CounterPhish is an around the clock monitoring and quick reaction service designed to discover, validate and shut down phishing attacks fast. The service also enables the customer to identify potential phishing attacks, and provides a full audit trail through Perimeter's online portal facility.
Pharming Shield monitors critical systems around the clock and detects when unauthorized modifications are made to a Web site that could mean that it has been compromised. It then immediately alerts customers if any unauthorized changes are made to their DNS servers, Web sites, or SSL digital certificates and quickly resolves any compromises found. Perimeter says its Identity Protection Service suite is priced at an affordable monthly subscription rate.
