📅 - Server automation and virtualization provider SWsoft (swsoft.com) announced on Friday it has purchased the assets of the Positive Software automation division of Comodo (comodo.com), including its H-Sphere control panel software with two million end users worldwide. As part of the agreement, SWsoft will resell Comodo security products, including SSL certificates, with its automation solutions.
"Through this acquisition, PSoft customers will benefit from SWsoft's extensive resources and high-quality customer support," says Serguei Beloussov, CEO of SWsoft. "It supports our OPEN FUSION technology initiative by expanding the number of customers who benefit from the large number of independent software vendor applications which are integrated through a common hosting platform."
PSoft is an automation software vendor designed for Web hosting companies and data centers, says the company. The vendor offers a diverse range of products, including H-Sphere control panel, H-Sphere Single Server Edition, CP+ dedicated server management, SiteStudio Web site builder, NOC Monkey remote server provisioning and the Linux-based Free VPS solution. Existing PSoft T customers will receive product support through SWsoft.
These products will join SWsoft's line of automation solutions that includes Plesk server automation and PEM data center automation, as well as the Ensim Pro server automation software.
Swsoft announced earlier this week it purchased the Ensim Pro software automation business from Ensim.
