DCOS is built on three layers:
DCOS Services, a command-line or GUI controlled environment for fastdeployment of new hardware and software, backups, disaster recoverDCRP Management, a genuine ERP system for IDCs, offering assetmanagement, workflow, ticketing, and problem resolutionDCAC Appliances, a range of software agents, used to deploy hardwareappliances as servers, storage devices, firewalls, load balancers, VPNdevices, and streaming devices
"Datacenter Technologies has developed a pioneering software environment forintegrating and automating the labour-intensive tasks of hosting in InternetData Centers," said Floris van Alkemade, general partner of NeSBIC CTe Fund."Co-location players need to move up the value chain and offer managedservices, while at the same time engineers are hard to find, and costs haveto be reduced. Datacenter Technologies enables these players to meet theirambitious goals with its sophisticated suite of integrated technology."
"Managed hosting is a strong growth sector," said Philippe Herbert, managingdirector of Partech International. "The recent economic slowdown encouragescompanies to understand that it is best to outsource the management of theirInternet operations to experts."
